The Phantom's technical details are equally impressive. The compression-molded process utilizes 3oz. carbon laminates, resulting in a woven carbon construction that is exceptionally durable. The fiberglass used in the board's layered glass design comes in three different weights, depending on the specific board model. This layered glass approach ensures that the Hyperlite deck will maintain its consistent "pop" off the double up, even over time, as traditional woven glass fibers tend to separate.

The single concave base of the Phantom channel's water down the center of the board, providing a solid and controlled feel.
